I have of my own accord decided that I wish to rent the abovementioned property commencing (date) for a period of six or twelve months).
I have been informed, understand and agree that the rental for the aforesaid property is to be $ per week and that this rental is within my means to support. I have been informed and understand that the rental for the aforesaid property is to be two weeks in advance at all times and that the bond will be $ (four times the weekly rent). I futhor agree and undertake to pay the bond on/before signing the tenancy agreement and authorise the letting agent to attend to all details regarding the lodgement of the rental bond.
I have been informed, understand and agree that the acceptance of my application is subject to a satisfactory report being obtained from information supplied on the tenancy Application submitted by me. i have been informed, understand and agree that should this application not be accepted, the agent is not required or obligated to disclose why or supply any reason for the rejection of this application.
In accorance with Section 18n(1)(b) of the Privacy Act I authorise you to give information to and obtain information from all credit providers/references and employers named in this application. I understand this information may be used to assess my application.
I futhor authorise the letting agent to contact and/or conduct any inquiries and or searches with regard to the information and references supplied in this application.
All applicants must view the property before an application will be processed. Every prospective occupant over the age of 18 years must fill in an application form, whether they will be a lease holder or not. Should your application be successful then the agreement is binding so it is important that you do not make an application on a second property anywhere until you have an answer on this application.
You will need to allow approximately 48 hours for your application to be processed. As soon as a decision is made and we have confirmed the lessor's instructions our tenancy manager will call you to let you know if your application is successful or not. Please remember that if your application is not approved this may simply be because there was a number of applications presented. In this case we would be happy to refer you to another avaliable property.
As soon as you are notified we require 2 weeks rent in advance to be paid (Money order or Bank Cheque only) at our office within 24 hours. This amount will secure the property in your name and will be your first 2 weeks rent. Should you decide not to go ahead with the tenancy this amount is not refundable.
Our tenancy manager will arrange a time for you to sign the lease documentation. This appointment will take about 20 minutes. We consider your lease to be a vital document and want to ensure that you are aware of all your obligations before making a commitment. For this reason all parties to the lease must be present for this appointment.
You will need to bring your bond (four times the weekly rent) into the office either before or on the day you sign the lease. We do not accept bond transfers. The amount will need to be paid in full by Bank Cheque or money Order made payable to Tim Altass Real Estate. We receive rent by Direct Debit only so you will also need to bring in the details for a nominated bank account (one account only) from which we will deduct your rent.
Please note that keys will not be released prior to the start date of your lease.
